| | Prayer Life of Paul for the Saints by David Smithers
Topic: Scripture(s): Romans 1:9, Ephesians 1:15, Philippians 1:3 | | Description: Paul's unceasing prayer life for the saints demonstrated that he understood the worth and value of a human soul to God. Smithers shows that prayerlessness bars access to people's hearts to further them in the Christian faith. Do you pray for people?

| | Reigning in Life - Part 3 by Alan Martin
Topic: Victory Scripture(s): Romans 5:15-17, Romans 1:16-17 | | Description: Sin is not near as powerful as grace, yet so many believers live as slaves to sin and live under the reproach of Egypt. "Grace is the very Person of Jesus Christ," says Alan Martin, "full of power, full of wisdom, full of glory, full of understanding, full of everything we need to be transformed from the likeness of Adam into the likeness of Christ." This is not so much a sermon as it is a hunger and a desire for reality!

| | Unashamed of the Gospel Amidst Our Culture by Paul Washer
Topic: Gospel Scripture(s): Romans 1:16 | | Description: Paul Washer uses examples from within his own denomination to reveal what is true of so many places that call themselves churches, with regard to (1) the ways in which Biblical and historical Christianity has been reduced to an impotent and empty creed, and (2) the effects of this reduction upon the people who are influenced by it. But whilst casting down false strongholds, he is also faithful to build up that which is true, clearly setting out what is the TRUE gospel of Christ, of which the Apostle was not ashamed. When that gospel is preached, we should be asking men, not Do you know youre a sinner? but Has God so worked in your heart that the sin you once loved you now hate?; not Have you made a decision? but Has God worked in your heart?; not Do you want to go to heaven? but Has God so worked in your heart that you now esteem him worthy above all things, and desire HIM?. Mr Washer includes examples of some Godly conversions, which clearly bear the fruits of that miraculous and supernatural repentance and regeneration which are the work of God alone. (50 minutes).

| | The Gospel is the Power of God by Eli Brayley
Topic: Gospel Scripture(s): Romans 1:16-17 | | Description: This message was preached August 24, 2008 at Valley Church in Smithfield, Utah. "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written. The just shall live by faith." (Romans 1:16-17) The Gospel which saves us is the power of God and the wisdom of God; for no one was saved by their own power, nor their own wisdom, but by the working alone of God's mighty power. The greatest need of man is righteousness with God, but it is also his greatest impossibility. Only through the Gospel is that righteousness secured, not by the strength and will of the flesh, but by the power and wisdom and God.
