| | The Violent Overthrow of God's House by Carter Conlon
Topic: Selling The Gospel Scripture(s): Matthew 21 | | Description: You have never heard the tabernacle of the Lord explained as you will here. From Matthew 21 where Jesus overthrew the tables and ran the moneychangers out of the temple, to 2nd Chronicles 6 and 7 when Solomon built the temple and dedicated it, the purpose of the temple is explained in depth. This is a real eye-opener on prayer. Just as the religious Pharisees were ineffective and uncaring for the lost, with no real compassion, today many Christians are caught up in worldly things, while their family and friends are lost, too busy to pray as they should. Jesus said his house should be a house of prayer and we are the temple of God. Are we houses of prayer? Do we pray as we should?

| | Divine Healing by Hans R. Waldvogel
Topic: Divine Healing Scripture(s): Exodus 15:26, Matthew 8:17, Hebrews 11:6 | | Description: “Faith cometh by hearing the word of God,” and God will always meet faith. And what is faith? Why, that’s the question: what is faith? “I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.” I’m often troubled when I pray for the sick. Just recently I had that experience again. I met some saints—not anybody that’s here; now, don’t feel bad; I’m not pointing right at you, see: somebody else—but saints. I was praying for the sick, and talking faith, and praying faith, and God was there. And these saints talked unbelief. You’d be surprised how much unbelief is hanging on us. The Bible talks about “the sin that doth so easily beset us.” It sticks to us. Die klebt uns an. Grad wie die Kletten; das ist Unglaube. It’s unbelief. And you’d be surprised what mountains of unbelief there are in the saints. You don’t find it out until the cat bites them, or a dog barks at them, or something else happens and they really have to believe God. Why, then their faith is gone—absolutely gone.

| | The Pharisee by John Rhys Watkins
Topic: Phariseeism Scripture(s): Matthew 23 | | Description: The last words of Christ in the temple were the divine portrait of religious hypocrisy. Jesus Christ's accusation is against the heart, not the outward appearance, which may appear very moral and upright. John Rhys Watkins lifts up the truth of Christ as a mirror to check ourselves, lest we fall under the same condemnation.

| | Matthew - Part 2 by Zac Poonen
Topic: Matthew Scripture(s): Matthew 11-28 | | Description: The grand theme of Matthew is a new covenant people who set their minds on heavenly things, not the things of earth. The kingdom of heaven is likened to humble children; to these kinds of disciples does revelation and the glory of Christ come. Zac touches upon many precious comparisons that abound in this gospel.
