Logos in Nature by Dr. A.E. Wilder-Smith

Topic: Logos
Scripture(s): Matthew 4:4
Description: Thought, communication, and ideas cannot occur by random chance. Dr. Smith shows how chance is not capable of producing instrumentation. He discusses in this sermon how our instrumentation was designed in its origins to enjoy God and take pleasure in Him forever. If we are not in the place of operating as our instrumentation was designed, we need to ask the Lord as to why we are all out of whack, in hopes that He will correct us. Smith discusses how happy marriages are often an indication of God’s working in our instrumentation just like the Albatross happily maintains their monogamy for life, and revels in it with dancin

34 Principle 30 - Reading the Entirety of Scriptures by Principles For The Gathering of Believers

Topic: Audio Books
Scripture(s): 1 Corinthians 6:20, Matthew 4:4, Colossians 3:1-3
Description: For many Christians in countries with no persecution, having a Bible—the full Scriptures495—is often not appreciated. We do not realize that the Bible is our greatest physical treasure in this world. In persecuted nations our sisters and brothers weep over the Word of God and often only have parts of the New Testament or literally scraps of paper with copied Scripture verses on them. Yet for some in the body of Christ there is great abundant access to full Bibles in literally hundreds of translations.

Hell, What Is It Like? by David Wilkerson

Topic: Hell
Scripture(s): Matthew 11:23, 2 Peter 2:17, 2 Thessalonians 1:9
Description: This is a very sobering message on the reality of hell. Barely any preachers these days would even dare to preach on this subject but how sad that falls from the new testament normal of hell as a normal doctrine taught and discussed. Jesus spoke of hell more then heaven, listen carefully and know that there is a eternal hell.

(Genesis) - Part 27 by Zac Poonen

Topic: Judah
Scripture(s): Genesis 38-40, Matthew 1:1-6
Description: Judah's backsliding and adultery with his daughter-in-law Tamar holds out warnings of ungodly association but also the mercy of God through Jesus' willingness to be identified with sinners. The tests of Joseph are the tests for every believer: submission to spiritual authority and keeping oneself pure. The "post-graduate" tests come when we can stand up under false accusation and suffer for the sins of others.

God sent His Son; and now my eyes have seen You by Erlo Stegen

Topic: Jesus Christ
Scripture(s): Matthew 1:2
Description: It is one thing to be taught the Gospel, it is another when the inner being is enabled to see the Lord Jesus. When God reveals Him to you, then a change comes about which is brought about by the Holy Spirit. It is only then that a person is saved. As the saying goes, "salvation is not by education but by revelation". If the Holy Spirit reveals this mystery of Christ incarnate, born for us, then we experience the promise in Isaiah 9:6 "unto us a Son is given"; and then you can say like Job, "now my eyes have seen You".

Canadian Christian Heritage Under Fire #4 - New Evangelicalism Denounced by Ian Goligher

Topic:
Scripture(s): Matthew 13:24
Description: The tares of New Evangelicalism have been sown while churches slept. The father of Neo- Orthodoxy was Karl Barth a Swiss theologian, who having rebounded from outright liberalism became the hope of many Evangelicals. Instead, he was the pied piper who led them to their destruction. In this message you will learn that the existentialism of Neo-Orthodoxy has led to a play-dough religion. While orthodoxy stands rock solid on the truth that is timeless, New Evangelicals have fallen headlong into the sinking sands of subjectivism. Learn how Barthianism ruined so many denominations and promising evangelicals. Learn why Canada's voice for Orthodoxy has been all but silenced. Again we ask, Where are the preachers? This message will tell us why.

The Coming of the Elijah Ministry by Carter Conlon

Topic: Elijah
Scripture(s): Matthew 17:8-13
Description: September 21, 2008 - This ministry will be a ministry delivered from the spirit of the age and the intoxication of this society. These are a people who are one with the purpose and ministry of Jesus Christ. It is a ministry that has a voice given to us by God to tell the lost there is an eternal kingdom and a sinless lamb who has power to take away the sin of the world. The purpose of the Elijah ministry is to lead the hearts of the father to the children and the hearts of the children to the father. A fire ignites in our heart to lead people back to the heart of God.

The Menace of the Religious Movie (reading) by A.W. Tozer

Topic: Religious Movie
Scripture(s): Matthew 23:15
Description: This is a reading, by Howard Douglas King, of an article taken from A. W. Tozer's book, 'Worship and Entertainment'. Tozer, in keeping with the historic Christian stance on the theater, condemns the religious movie, giving the following seven reasons: 1. It violates the scriptural law of hearing. 2. The religious movie embodies the mischievous notion that religion is, or can be made, a form of entertainment. 3. The religious movie is a menace to true religion because it embodies acting, a violation of sincerity. 4. They who present the gospel movie owe it to the public to give biblical authority for their act: and this they have not done. 5. God has ordained four methods only by which Truth shall prevail -- and the religious movie is not one of them. 6. The religious movie is out of harmony with the whole spirit of the Scriptures and contrary to the mood of true godliness. 7. I am against the religious movie because of the harmful effect upon everyone associated with it.
