| | The Resurrection of the Hidden Talent by Carter Conlon
Topic: Talent Scripture(s): Matthew 25:14-30 | | Description: January 29, 2006 Considering talents are the promises and provisions of God, have you hid the talents that He deposited in you because of unbelief? God will deposit in us what we need to empower us to bring glory and honor to His name. The more we step forward in faith the more you will notice the God wants you to go back to the first gifts He deposited into you and ask Him to resurrect very first deposit that He placed in you.

| | The Weeding of the Garden by C. H. Spurgeon
Topic: Scripture(s): Matthew 15:18 | | Description: JESUS CHRIST had spoken certain truths which were highly objectionable to the Pharisees. Some of his loving disciples were in great fright, and they came to him and said, Knowest thou not that the Pharisees are offended? Now, our Savior, instead of making any apology for having offended the Pharisees, took it as a matter of course, and replied in a sentence which is well worthy to be called a proverb, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up. Now we have oftentimes, as Mathew Henry very tritely remarks, a number of good and affectionate but very weak hearers. They are always afraid that we shall offend other hearers. Hence, if the truth be spoken in a plain and pointed manner, and seems to come close home to the conscience, they think that surely it ought not to have been spoken, because So-and-so, and So-and-so, and So-and so took offense at it. Truly, my brethren, we are not all slow to answer in this matter. If we never offended, it would be proof positive that we did not preach the gospel. They who can please man will find it quite another thing to have pleased God. Do you suppose that men will love those who faithfully rebuke them? If you make the sinner's heart to groan...

| | The Cross and the New Covenant! by David Wilkerson
Topic: Scripture(s): Matthew 18:1-11,Ephesians 2:3-11,Colossians 2:2 | | Description: The Law was to bring us to the cross by showing us our own inability to make it or ever be good enough. The cross liberates us, the blood cleanses us from sin, and frees us from the law. The liberty of the New Covenant is freedom from sin, and bondage of striving in our flesh to be holy. Jesus refers to children in Matt 18, and warns against offending new Christians. We must allow the Holy Spirit to teach them, as we love them and pray for them. This is one of the best messages I've heard on the new covenant and the righteousness of Christ imputed to believers.

| | Three Men Going to Hell by Eli Brayley
Topic: Hell Scripture(s): Matthew 7:13-14 | | Description: This message was preached Friday April 21, 2006 in the open air on York and King, and is a warning against three types of people. The clip is about 14 minutes long and contains a lot of heckling and street preaching clashes, making this file an intense audio to hear. The point is: Jesus Christ is the narrow gate by which all men must enter. "Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it." (Matthew 7:13-14)

Topic: Broadway Scripture(s): Matthew 7:13-27 | | Description: Steve Gallagher delivers a very solemn message on unconverted believers in the modern church. Jesus concluded His fabulous Sermon on the Mount with four parables-each contrasting the fate of genuine saints with that of false Christians. In this powerful message, Steve vividly paints a picture of the horror psuedo-believers will experience at Judgement when they hear the terrifying words, "Depart from Me..."
