| | Divine Healing by Hans R. Waldvogel
Topic: Divine Healing Scripture(s): Exodus 15:26, Matthew 8:17, Hebrews 11:6 | | Description: “Faith cometh by hearing the word of God,” and God will always meet faith. And what is faith? Why, that’s the question: what is faith? “I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.” I’m often troubled when I pray for the sick. Just recently I had that experience again. I met some saints—not anybody that’s here; now, don’t feel bad; I’m not pointing right at you, see: somebody else—but saints. I was praying for the sick, and talking faith, and praying faith, and God was there. And these saints talked unbelief. You’d be surprised how much unbelief is hanging on us. The Bible talks about “the sin that doth so easily beset us.” It sticks to us. Die klebt uns an. Grad wie die Kletten; das ist Unglaube. It’s unbelief. And you’d be surprised what mountains of unbelief there are in the saints. You don’t find it out until the cat bites them, or a dog barks at them, or something else happens and they really have to believe God. Why, then their faith is gone—absolutely gone.

| | (Genesis) - Part 19 by Zac Poonen
Topic: Genesis Scripture(s): Genesis 21:1-22:10, Hebrews 11:11, Galatians 4:21-31 | | Description: The birth of Isaac came at the end of Abraham and Sarah laying hold of God by faith despite their ups and downs. Isaac and Isaac contrast believers under the old covenant (done in the strength of the flesh) and those of the new covenant, that which is done supernaturally. God's tests come to see whether He is first in our life. Abraham went against human reason, counted the cost, and obeyed God in offering Isaac, the first mention of worship and also a picture of the resurrection.

| | The Book of Hebrews by Audio Bible NT - KJV
Topic: Audio Bible KJV Scripture(s): Hebrews | | Description: Although tradition ascribed Hebrews to Paul, it is now generally believed to have been written by someone other than the Apostle, but certainly someone who was acquainted with Pauls teaching. The Epistle portrays Jesus, who performed the perfect sacrifice for the sins of the world, as the great High Priest of the line of Melchizedek (Gen. 14). The Bibles only definition of faith occurs in this Epistle (Chap. 11) and is followed by the "great line of splendor" of the men of faith.

| | (The Better Covenant) 1 - A Loving Father by Zac Poonen
Topic: Scripture(s): Hebrews 7:22, 8:8, John 17:23 | | Description: All of our problems arise from our lack of awareness of God as our Father. What revolutionizes my life is knowing that the Father loves me as much as He loves Jesus! The quality of life described in the new covenant is distinctively better than that of the old covenant, as high as Jesus is above Moses. Living in the superior provision of the new covenant is having a Father as Jesus did, not a policeman full of rules and regulations.
