| | Worship that Calls for a Sword by Carter Conlon
Topic: Worship Scripture(s): Exodus 32:27 | | Description: Carter uses the text in Exodus 32, when the children of God made and worshipped a calf with the noise of war, to contrast false and true worship. There is a false worship that sounds like the noise of war and there is a true worship that only comes from being true to God. If we find that we are not walking in a true and honest worship, we must take a sword {the word of God} to that false worship and kill the false worship. Exo 32:27 And he said unto them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Put every man his sword by his side, and go in and out from gate to gate throughout the camp, and slay every man his brother, and every man his companion, and every man his neighbor.

| | Where Do I Stand With God by David Wilkerson
Topic: Struggling Scripture(s): Exodus 33:11, Exodus 17-23 | | Description: God does not yell at us when we are struggling. It is His desire to see us "strengthened in the inner man" that we might walk "in the Light" as He is in the Light. This message is a rebuke to those who viciously thunder condemning messages to those struggling with sin. If listened to out of context, and with a wrong spirit, one might think Brother Wilkerson is saying that "it doesn't matter if you sin." He is not. Brother Wilkerson emphasizes the importance of delivering the FULL counsel of God - that although there is great "severity" if one does not surrender their life to Jesus, the Lord is also full of forgiveness and loving-kindness. "By lovingkindness and truth iniquity is atoned for, And by the fear of the LORD one keeps away from evil." Proverbs 16:6

| | (The Power of the Holy Spirit - 3) The Fire of God by Zac Poonen
Topic: Holy Spirit Scripture(s): Luke 12:49, Exodus 3:2 | | Description: Jesus came to set people on fire for God, a fire of the Holy Spirit that brings inner purity and holiness. "Holiness is to your soul," Zac says, "what health is to your body." The sermon is lined with encouragements and warnings, especially glorying in correct doctrine without fire--God's presence--and lukewarmness, which is detestable in God's sight. "We are not just called to go to heaven; we're called to be a flaming witness for Jesus Christ on this earth."

| | The Making Of A Worshipper by David Wilkerson
Topic: Worshipper Scripture(s): Exodus 14:8-22,Hebrews 11:21 | | Description: Worshippers aren't made in good times, or during victories. They are made in dark and stormy trials. Jacob had lived a tumultous life, with one trial after another, yet when he was old and dying, he leaned on his staff and worshipped, saying his bad times had been few, as he reflected on the faithfulness of God. God had brought him through so many things, and he will be faithful to us, too

| | Stand Still and See the Salvation of the Lord by David Wilkerson
Topic: Scripture(s): Psalms 37:23, Exodus 14:13 | | Description: February 12, 2006 Very often we are driven by the enemy into places where fear and we allow this spirit to take control of us. Fear always produces wrong reasoning. Wrong reasoning leads to wrong conclusions which lead us to wrong actions and we end up on a wrong pathway. We must refuse to be led by fear and begin to aloe faith to lead us. Faith in Jesus always parts the waters of impossibilities and causes us to stand still and see Yeshua our Way maker.
