He exhorts and uses many examples and scriptures towards praying, true praying. "Some of us have not been at it yet" (in reference to true praying). The devil fights most strongly against us when we pray. What a need to understand the schemes of the devil and principalities and powers that we fight against.

| | Freedom From This World System by Zac Poonen
Topic: World System Scripture(s): 2 Corinthians 4:4, Ephesians 6:11, John 16:33 | | Description: There is a distinction between loving the world and not being of the world, that believers must make. We are not called to hide from the world, but rather we are to be in it while being completely freed from its clutches, and free from its systemic tyranny over our lives. This sermon shows how, if you use worldly methods to attract people to your fellowships, worldly people are all you will attract. Brother Zac uses a flurry of scriptures to blow away any notion that it is acceptable to God to still be of this present evil world.

| | (The Better Covenant) 5 - Satan Defeated by Zac Poonen
Topic: Scripture(s): Ephesians 6:12, Colossians 2:14-15 | | Description: One way to tell if you are still living under the old covenant is whether you still fight with human beings. When Satan was defeated on the cross, believers now war against the real enemy which even the greatest saints of the old covenant could never do. Beware of certain sins that can bring you into fellowship with the devil, such as pride, lying and anger.

| | Cleansed by the Blood by Robert B. Thompson
Topic: Scripture(s): Revelation 12:7-11, Ephesians 6:12, Psalm 149:6-9 | | Description: Dr. Thompson begins discussing the idea that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, etc. He discusses the dynamics of spiritual warfare, including the concept of two armies An army of warriors (angels) and an army of judges (men). The delay in Christs return has to do with the fact that the army of judges is not ready yet, he says. This life of trials and tests is to form Christ in us which makes us ready to judge and rule with Him. He segues into the purpose of the blood of Christ: it forgives our sins, it cleanses sin, it covers us (for protection), it nourishes the inner man, it deadens the power of sin over you, and it will literally remove the sin from you (at His coming). The sermon is much more interesting than Im making it sound.

| | Preparing to Stand In the Coming Storm by Carter Conlon
Topic: Last Days Scripture(s): Matthew 7:7-16, Ephesians 6:13 | | Description: June 14, 2009 - There is a longing in the heart of God to give His church the resources that we need to be the people He has called us to be. The Bible says to keep asking and we will receive. But what are we asking for? This message makes an appeal to us to put away childish prayers that are self-focused and begin to ask for the power and provision we need to minister to fallen humanity. Ask God for a heart for this world and an awareness of how much He loves people. Those who are looking away from self and are given for the work of God will be given supernatural strength in the coming storm!
