| | 44 Principle 40 - The Body of Christ Is the Church by Principles For The Gathering of Believers
Topic: Audio Books Scripture(s): Ephesians 4:12, Ephesians 2:19-22, Matthew 24:2 | | Description: Many times we are preoccupied with the idea that the building where we worship is the Church. Yet in the early Church and Biblical record, God calls the people themselves the Church.629 One of the main desires in church planting in North America is the constructing of a church building after a group of believers is established. This is not always helpful. The true work of God is not dependent on money and resources to grow but rather on hearts that have been affected by the Gospel of our Lord. If we focus on building structures and churches, we can subtly deceive the people to depend on such structures630 and not the living Lord.

| | Becoming a House For God by Robert B. Thompson
Topic: Scripture(s): John 14:1-6, Isaiah 66:1, Acts 7:44-50, Ephesians 2:22-23 | | Description: Dr. Thompson touches on the difference between going to Heaven versus going to The Father. He addresses the problems with the King James word mansion in our understanding of what God is doing. He discusses in depth John 14:3. The house referred to in the phrase In My Fathers House
is not Heaven, but Jesus Himself Jesus is the house of God. Not that Heaven does not exist, but it is not the goal. Jesus is the Fathers house, and He makes a place in Himself for us, so that we become a room in that house. This sermon is practical, and it will stretch your brain a bit. (49 minutes 36 seconds)

| | 33 - The Unity of the Church of Christ by Ben Torrey
Topic: Unity Scripture(s): Ephesians 4:1-5 | | Description: Ben Torrey shares a short talk on the unity of the body of Christ. He clearly shows how Paul the Apostle speaks of unity and his passion for all early believers to be unified under the Lord. When we are not in right relationship with others in the Church we blaspheme God's name and authority over our lives. We must be one with each other as we are one in faith in Christ Jesus.

Topic: Audio Books Scripture(s): 1 Corinthians 1:10, Ephesians 4:14, John 17: 21 | | Description: We see the beginning of a movement where God is waking up many of His sheep to hear His voice in the midst of the noise and rustle of the denominational confusion. God never intended His Church to be divided,72 confused and led back and forward with every wind of doctrine. “Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming.

| | A Pure Heart by Alan Martin
Topic: Heart Scripture(s): Proverbs 22:11, Ephesians 4:20-24 | | Description: Alan Martin takes us through the Scriptures to show that true purity is what is right in God's eyes, not man's. He then shows the way to achieve this purity: By taking heed to God's Word and receiving the Light--Jesus Christ. The pure in heart shall see God, and from the pure heart, enabled by God, comes forth gracious speech. (NOTE: This is the follow-on sermon to "Gracious Speech")

| | Purity of Speech As Believers in Christ by Jim Cymbala
Topic: Speech Scripture(s): Ephesians 4:29 | | Description: In this message, Pastor Cymbala teaches about how important words are. Words can benefit and encourage those that listen. He shares how many christians grieve the Holy Spirit continually through the day with their speech. For believers we should not have unwholesome speech, anger, slander, wrath or critical talk. God can purify our hearts and tongues so that they are pleasing in His sight.
