| | Desiring the Sincere Milk of the Word by Hans R. Waldvogel
Topic: Word Of God Scripture(s): 1 Peter 2:2, Ephesians 4:13, Act 20:32 | | Description: That is the great need: create desire within me; make me love you more, Jesus; make my soul to desire You. And there’s a very simple way to do that. The Bible tells us that “as newborn babes” we have to grow. “Grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.” Who would like to see a baby remain a baby? You wouldn’t like that, would you? You’d like to see them grow, get strong, get tall, become men and women. And so my God has ordained that His children should grow, and grow into the full stature of the full measure of the manhood in Christ Jesus.

| | From Captive to Captain by Carter Conlon
Topic: Bondage Scripture(s): Ephesians 1:17-23 | | Description: March 23, 2008 - When we begin to pray for those who are lost God will sometimes answer by sending a storm into their lives. During this storm our friends and family who have in past times rejected us will come to us for help in their time of need. God will allow us to begin to guide them with Godly direction and provision. When we are gripped by God for the souls of men He will gives us strength and wisdom to be broken bread for them. The only way we can make it on this journey is to understand that the suffering we go through is worth it for those who don't know Jesus yet.

| | Being Filled with the Spirit by Hans R. Waldvogel
Topic: Filled With The Spirit Scripture(s): Hebrews 3:1, Acts 19:2, Ephesians 1:17 | | Description: We need to know the Holy Ghost, because He’s our life. We need to drink of that Fountain of life. It isn’t sufficient to be baptized with the Holy Ghost, but now to walk in the Spirit, “e has translated you out of the kingdom of darkness.” How many people claim to be baptized with the Holy Ghost, and they’re satisfied to still live in the flesh, and they’re satisfied to still be governed by the flesh! That’s where our frowns come from. But beloved, that, the Bible says, is dangerous: “If we live in the flesh, we shall die.” We shall die! “But if ye live in the spirit…” Do you know the Spirit? Do you know the Holy Ghost? Is He your habitation? Is He your realm? Is He the ocean of life and of light and of grace and of love and of joy and of peace into which you’ve been sunk, deeply sunk, so that your whole being has been transformed into this ocean of love? “Have you received the Holy Ghost?”

| | The Way To Spiritual Ascendancy 2 by Dana Congdon
Topic: Spiritual Growth Scripture(s): Ephesians 5:18, Acts 19, John 1:47-51 | | Description: "Until the throne room is central to church life," Dana warns, "we're not gathering under an open heaven." If we are going to represent the Lord Jesus Christ, we will encounter all kinds of opposition--counterfeit ministry, demonic opposition, interference in the prayer meetings, and so on. To counteract the principalities and powers, we must know what it means to be filled with the Spirit.

| | The Spirit Filled Life by Oswald J. Smith
Topic: Spirit Filled Life Scripture(s): Ephesians 5:18 | | Description: 'The question is not,' Oswald J. Smith contends, 'Do I have the Holy Spirit?' but, 'Am I filled with the Holy Spirit?' Smith shows how this commandment to be filled with the Spirit is essential to have power over sin and power for service. HOW may I be filled? Five conditions are laid out to consider: confession, renunciation, surrender, obedience and faith. Mr. Smith closes with his own personal testimony of how God broke him in ministry and humbled him sorely so that he could be used in the power of the Spirit and not in the energy of the flesh.
