You Are a Living Message for All to See
“We do not lose heart … but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God” (2 Corinthians 4:1-2). The apostle Paul states that we are called to be a manifestation of the truth. Of course, we know ... read more

You Are Loved and Accepted
Jeremiah was a thundering prophet of the Old Testament. Every word he preached was like a sword cutting into the flesh. He angered politicians and church leaders so much they threw him into prison. But all the time, this weeping prophet looked forward ... read more

YOU BELONG TO HIM!
In Song of Solomon, the Lord says of his bride: "How fair and how pleasant art thou, O love, for delights!" (Song of Solomon 7:6). Three of the Hebrew words in this verse are synonymous: fair (meaning "precious"), pleasant (indicating "pleasure"), and del ... read more

You Have Been Adopted
We who live in the New Testament age have been given a great testimony. Not only do we have the works of Jesus to consider, but also the great works of the first-century church. Add to that the two thousand years of godly people “doing greater works tha ... read more

YOU NEED THE HOLY GHOST
Some have been saved for a number of years, some perhaps a year, and some just months or a few weeks. Being saved from sin is wonderful! Old things fade away—and all things become new. I am so glad you’re saved! But in order to be a good soldier in t ... read more

YOU WILL SURVIVE
Happiness does not mean living without pain or hurt—not at all. True happiness is learning how to live one day at a time, in spite of sorrow and pain. It is learning how to rejoice in the Lord, no matter what has happened in the past. You may feel reje ... read more

YOUR BATTLE IS THE LORD’S (see 2 Chronicles 20:15)
The reason I am writing this is to remind you the battle you are facing is not yours, but God’s. If you are a child of his, you can be certain that Satan will “rage against you.” In 2 Chronicles 20, a great multitude came against God’s people. King ... read more

Your Father Keeps His Promises

“ABBA, FATHER”
The Holy Ghost has a way of simplifying our relationship with God the Father and Jesus. He is the One who teaches us to say, “Abba, Father.” This phrase refers to an oriental custom of Bible days, regarding the adoption of a child. Until the adopting ... read more

“Thou preventest him with the blessings of goodness: thou settest a crown of pure gold on his head” (Psalm 21:3). At first glance, this verse by David is a bit puzzling. The word “prevent” is usually associated with hindrance, not with blessing. A moder ... read more

“SETTING” OUR FAITH
I am convinced people lose hope because they’ve lost faith. They have heard many sermons, read many books, but all around they see examples of shipwrecked faith. Christians who once espoused faith are now giving up their trust in God in the midst of their ... read more
