Many people believe Jesus lived. They believe he is divine. They trust him for finances and for health, but you see, saving faith is trusting Christ for salvation. Some people will trust the Lord for their protection when they go out at night. They wouldn't think of putting out the garbage at night without trusting the Lord to take care of them. But as far as their eternal welfare is concerned they are trusting in their own efforts because they have never understood what the Bible teaches. Saving faith is putting our trust in Jesus Christ alone for eternal life.
