Set Me Free Woe to the World for Temptations to Sin Matthew 18.6 The world says, How terrible for those who suffer! But from the depths of my heart faith replies, How terrible for the world when it does not suffer! The world sows the entire earth with evil traps to cause souls to go astray. For a long time my own soul was lost in the world. Alas! Dear God, how good You are to use my infirmity to hold me far away from that corrupt world! Strengthen me through suffering, and complete Your work of setting me free from everything, before You allow me to become exposed to those enemies of Yours who tempt to sin. Let my infirmity teach me to know that the world's delights are full of poison.
