MY STRENGTH FAILS ME MY STRENGTH FAILS ME Psalm 38, 10 MY STRENGTH FAILS ME I feel nothing but weakness, impatience, the afflictions of a feeble nature, and the temptation to murmur and despair. What has become of the courage of which I was so proud, and which inspired in me so much confidence in myself? Alas, besides all my troubles, I also have to endure the shame of my weakness and my impatience. Lord, You are attacking my pride on every side. You are leaving it no resources at all. I am all too happy to endure these things, provided that through these terrible lessons You teach me that I am nothing, that I am capable of nothing, and that You alone are everything.
