I hope many people are able to find some of these old historical accounts of revivals and in result are spurned on to seek the God of the revivals to do a fresh word in their heart. God is waiting for us to pursue Him, Oh the pursuit of God which is ultimately the glorification of God and the cheif end of the Christian life.

I just received another copy of [i]They Speak with Other Tongues[/i] by John Sherrill (coauthor of [i]The Cross and the Switchblade[/i] with David Wilkerson, [i]God's Smuggler[/i] with Brother Andrew, and [i]The Hiding Place[/i] with Corrie ten Boom). It is a detailed testimony of Brother Sherrill's research into the Pentecostal movement, including interviews with David Wilkerson. The book includes firsthand accounts of various revivals in the UK and the United States.
I read the book as a relatively new believer. I am wondering how I will receive it now as a more mature believer.
