 secular

When i got saved it was so hard to give up the secular bands i was into. but now , years later, i look back and see how empty and meaningless it all was, because i want to be in the presence of God more than anything now. being a christian isn't about do's and dont's , its about loving God and bearing the fruits of the spirit (aka loving others). when i am listening to secular music, i dont get the fruits of the Spirit, i get the exact opposite, resulting in losing that staying in the presence of God. garbage in, garbage out i guess. amen to wilkerson :)

Phillipians 4:8-9
