Hi there,

Also notice the success of David's army was linked to his specific obedience to God's advice.

Also, when the Egyptian army was trying to cross the Red Sea, who took off their chariot wheels?

Here are some 'weapons'. There may be others.

Judges 4:21 and 5:26
Judges 15:15, 16
1 Samuel 22:10
2 Samuel 18:14 and Proverbs 7:23
2 Chron 26:14
Ephesians 6:17

 Re:

"And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel"

Gideon, with the Spirit of the Lord upon him used:

Judges 8:10 and 11 - the sword (assumed)
16 - thorns of the wilderness and briers
17 - the sword (assumed)

Barak, with the Lord's intervention used:

Judges 4:16 - the sword
(21 - enemy's wife used a hammer and nail)

Samson, with the Spirit of God upon him used:

Judges 14:6 - his bare hands
15:4 - three hundred foxes and firebrands
15:15 - the jawbone of an ass
16:29-30 - bare hands

Gideon, with the Spirit of the Lord upon him used:

Judges 8:10 and 11 - the sword (assumed)
16 - thorns of the wilderness and briers
17 - the sword (assumed)

Jephthae, with the Spirit of the Lord upon him used:

Judges 11:32 - the sword (assumed)

David, after being anointed by the Lord used:

1 Samuel 17:13 and 35 - sword?
49 - sling and stone
51 - the sword
19:27 - probably the sword
probably another reference or two to David's weapon(s) of choice

More later.

 Re:

wow it's all very makeshift isnt it? aside from swords and the sling shot, the rest is down to improvisation with what you have. nice.

 Re:

The only thing that comes to my mind is when David played an instrument to calm the spirit within Saul. I know that isn't 'slaying' but it sure is control or powerful.
