President Trump Speaks to UN On Behalf Of Persecuted Church

From Jim Garlow

(I have never reposted something like I am doing this - but this is the best opportunity our persecuted brothers and sisters have ever had ... thus am re-posting & asking you to share with everyone, then watch the livestream- AND PRAY FOR THE PERSECUTED CHURCH - that this could be moment of release.)
IMPORTANT / URGENT / MAJOR INTERNATIONAL EVENT/ BEING LIVESTREAMED: For the sake of persecuted Christians around the globe (and there are more at this time than any time in history), please help spread the word of what is happening on Monday. For the FIRST TIME EVER – ON THE WORLD STAGE a President of the US is going to call attention to this atrocity – at the UN – during the opening of General Assembly. Why is this important?
Once a year (this time each September) the heads-of-state (presidents, prime ministers & kings) come from all over the world to the United Nations in New York City. There are 193 Member Nations in the UN. Beginning this Monday – Sept 23 – leaders from around the globe (with large delegations) will converge upon the UN. (Upper East Side Manhattan becomes practically gridlocked due to blocked streets and thousands of security personnel.)
Our President will speak on Monday about religious persecution. (He will frame it widely – referring not merely to Christians. However, be assured that the vast majority of those being persecuted are Christians.)
Why is the location and timing of this speech so important? Because many of the religious persecutors are “state actors,” that means countries. And those state (country) leaders will be present at the UN at this time. This is an unprecedented moment in history. No president has ever done this – with this timing – on the world stage – with the “bad actors” at the UN!
President Trump's UN speech will be this Monday, September 23, 2019 at 11:30am Eastern; 10:30am Central; 9:30am Mountain; 8:30am Pacific.
A number of evangelicals have been invited by the White House to attend. Rosemary and I are part of that delegation.
We encourage you to tune in to watch the speech. Please, spread the word to every person you can. Please share this on all social media. Email and text your friends. And pray. Then pray some more. Pray for the persecuted. Pray for the President. They will be livestreaming the speech, at www.whitehouse.gov/live/

Statement from The White House Press Secretary
“President Donald J. Trump will host and provide keynote remarks at the Global Call to Protect Religious Freedom event on Monday, September 23, 2019, at the United Nations Headquarters. Vice President Mike Pence will also be in attendance and will introduce President Trump. The President is working to broaden international support for ongoing efforts to protect religious freedom in the wake of increasing persecution of people on the basis of their beliefs and a growing number of attacks on and destruction of houses of worship by state and non-state actors. The President will call on the international community to take concrete steps to prevent attacks against people on the basis of their religion or beliefs and to ensure the sanctity of houses of worship and all public spaces for all faiths.”
PLEASE FORWARD THIS.

President Trump Remarks on Religious Freedom

“The United States is founded on the principle that our rights do not come from government; they come from God. This immortal truth is proclaimed in our Declaration of Independence and enshrined in the First Amendment to our Constitution’s Bill of Rights. Our Founders understood that no right is more fundamental to a peaceful, prosperous, and virtuous society than the right to follow one’s religious convictions.

“Regrettably, the religious freedom enjoyed by American citizens is rare in the world. Approximately 80 percent of the world’s population live in countries where religious liberty is threatened, restricted, or even banned. And when I heard that number, I said, “Please go back and check it because it can’t possibly be correct.” And, sadly, it was. Eighty percent.

“As we speak, Jews, Christians, Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus, Sikhs, Yazidis, and many other people of faith are being jailed, sanctioned, tortured, and even murdered, often at the hands of their own government, simply for expressing their deeply held religious beliefs. So hard to believe.

“Today, with one clear voice, the United States of America calls upon the nations of the world to end religious persecution.

“To stop the crimes against people of faith, release prisoners of conscience, repeal laws restricting freedom of religion and belief, protect the vulnerable, the defenseless, and the oppressed, America stands with believers in every country who ask only for the freedom to live according to the faith that is within their own hearts.” (President Trump)

“But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.” (John 1:12-13; NASB)

 Re: God is merciful

Indeed it is quite a remarkable time in which we live, with so many things occurring so rapidly and it being so easy to become distracted and miss out on what God is doing. It seems things are ratcheting up, getting more intense hour by hour... Now more than ever we should not neglect our quite time with the Lord, increasing our prayer time and most certainly being mindful that the Lord is merciful, not wanting any to perish but all to come unto repentance 🙏🏻

16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
