 Wearying out the saints

Daniel 7:25 King James Version (KJV)
25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

This may be a practical thing but it seems my time gets more and more filled with work so I can just survive and working later and later.

In the world we live as a Christian just surviving to get.
Just spending are pay packets just on basic things and not having much money for anything else.

 Re: Wearying out the saints

Hi Dom: Youre saying out loud what others no doubt are feeling and saying to themselves.

How about this?

You and I both go out and plant, or water or harvest, but we go out. We cease complaining at least for the moment that there is so little salt...we are that salt so let's salt everywhere. We are lights, so lets be light everywhere.

The alternative is we become what we complain about, we live exactly like what is causing the declension in faith and practice.

If God wants to do more, then he in his wisdom will work all things after the counsel of his own will. We on the other hand should go to work based on the counsel of his word.

I encourage you brother to live and speak and be the answer. I know for certain unless I do what I am telling you nothing will happen.

God tells us to go preach the gospel, so if we don't go, who's to blame? Surely it cant be our apathetic brothers and sisters...It has to be us, both of us. No one is twisting my arm to keep silent, or to give up hope, or to feel we are abandoned by God. We are not.

Truth us brother, difficult times require an exercise of faith against all that depression of spirit we feel.

I'd rather be one of God's men that walked in faith...and like Noah only 8 got saved...at least some did. Like the prophets of old signal failures as to numbers and splashy results but the ultimate winners in that they remained faithful to God's call upon them. Their numerical failures are only made by comparison to failed evangelical practices that you yourself quoted...prophets that speak peace when doom approaches.

Go out and win one Dom, give God no rest until he has given to you a part of the harvest for the glory of Jesus Christ.
Then move on to another.

This same advice and counsel I give to myself, I point no fingers at you or anyone, I point all of them at myself. But in doing that, I know the answer is repentance from believing I am defeated, the Church is defeated and for that matter God is defeated insofar as He seems to have let his own Church go to the dumps.

We are part of that Church Dom, lets remind ourselves there are yet Calebs out there, who knows, time will tell that maybe as the battle continues a long time we will still be strong and able to obtain the inheritance God has planned for us?

 Re:

Yes Dom your posts of late are depressing but only because I know exactly what you are saying and I find myself miring down in the mud.

But, who ARE you? WHO ARE WE? If this list doesn't get you pumped up, then I don't know what will! We are not a bunch of wimps-- we are CHRISTIANS! Let's not ever forget what that means. We need to have confidence in the reality of who we are. Satan, the filthy liar that he is, tries to convince us that the following statements don't apply to us. HOGWASH! If you are a born-again believer, this is WHO YOU ARE-- even if you don't feel like it. Read through these... accept them. As you accept them and really believe them, your life will begin to line up accordingly. Believe me I have to read this list on a regular basis.
