I have found that the safe place interpreting doctrine is in Christ, as found so often in Paul's epistles. In all our discussions of doctrine let us not be moved away from the simplicity of devotion to Christ. Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace, goodwill to men. These words the angels sang at Christ's birth contain the essence of our faith and the message we share. The Good News of God reconciling men and women to Himself in Christ, apart from our works and by His grace alone. Let us rejoice in God's good news and remember to share it with those who need to hear it.Let us who believe rejoice in our faith and election in Christ. Those who have not yet believed : Repent and believe that you also may be saved God bless
"In all our discussions of doctrine let us not be moved away from the simplicity of devotion to Christ."Amen....
What does being a new Creation mean to you?"14 For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; 15 and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.16 Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer. 17 Therefore, if anyone is IN CHRIST, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, 19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
Amen William! In Christ is the legal position of every true believer. Let it also be our place of abiding, so that through abiding in Christ, we would bring forth much fruit to the glory of God.
