Yesterday afternoon a group of us went into a very poverty ridden section of our city to distribute free lunches. This is an area where sin abounds, but we know that God’s grace much more abounds. There is much drug dealing and prostitution taking place in this section of our city. Most of the people here are living in run down shacks and are unemployed. When you see this it becomes quite evident that poverty is a curse and not a blessing. The people received us warmly and were glad to have us pray for them. This is where the gospel of Jesus Christ is clearly seen to bring salvation, deliverance, healing, and blessing to those that believe, and will yield their lives to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. The woman that planned this event was a former prostitute, and now she is reaching many of these women with the love of Jesus.
God be praised my brother. May God continue to bless the endeavors of this dear sister. May many be drawn to the Lord Jesus Christ through these events and through the prayers of the Saints.Only because of Jesus.Blaine
