“Yes, they are sinners and they love their sin!! But, won't the God of all the earth do justly? ***** I didn't send you over here for them, I sent you for Me. Don't I deserve the reward of my suffering? *****”
The Lord Jesus certainly is entitled to the full reward of His suffering.
John 1:29 - Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of ***** the world! *****
1 John 2:2 - He Himself is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for those of ***** the whole world *****.
The Lord Jesus came to save SINNERS!
Mark 2:17 -- Jesus said to them, ***** "It is not those who are healthy who need a physician, but those who are sick; I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners." *****
THIS is the great authority that the Lord gives to the people He sends out:
Matt. 28:17-20 -- And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore........ I am with you always, even to the end of the age
THIS is the mighty power of God by which the worst sinners will be saved:
Paul was worst of all sinners (1 Tim. 1:15).
Acts 1:3-4 -- ……suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him; and he fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him, "Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?"
And Paul was instantly changed and became the man who said, “But whatever things were gain to me, those things I have counted as loss for the sake of Christ. More than that, I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them but rubbish so that I may gain Christ” (Phil. 3:7-8).
Dan. 6:27 - He delivers and rescues and performs signs and wonders In heaven and on earth…..
THESE are the numbers that will be saved:
Rev. 7:9 -- After these things I looked, and behold, ***** a great multitude which no one could count, from every nation and all tribes and peoples and tongues *****, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, and palm branches were in their hands…..
John 20:21 -- as the Father has sent Me, I also send you
John 3:16-17 -- For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.
***** For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him *****.
So, accordingly, God has not sent us into the world to judge the world
***** but that the world might be saved through Christ *****.
Do we have the love of God in our hearts that moves us to desire to save all the sinners in the world as God does?
Matt. 25:41-46 -- 41 “Then He will also say to those on His left, ‘Depart from Me, accursed ones, into the eternal fire which has been prepared for the devil and his angels; 42 for I was hungry, and you gave Me nothing to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me nothing to drink; 43 I was a stranger, and you did not invite Me in; naked, and you did not clothe Me; sick, and in prison, and you did not visit Me.’ 44 Then they themselves also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not [e]take care of You?’ 45 Then He will answer them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’ 46 These will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”
Jesus is our Bread of Life, our Robe of Righteousness, our Redemption and Sanctification, the Truth that sets us free, our All in all. Are we giving Jesus to the stranger, the naked, the sick and the prisoners? Or, are we mercilessly beating them for not delivering the quota of bricks to be made without straw (Ex. 5)?
James 2:13 -- For judgment will be merciless to one who has shown no mercy; mercy triumphs over judgment.
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all (2 Cor.13:14).
