Saints,Keep Jeremy in your prayers he shared an update of his condition here:he is the founder of:https://gospelebooks.nethttp://www.headcoveringmovement.com--Hey everyone, I have some major life changing news that I'd like to share with you all.Since Friday night I have been having some serious health complications that included strong abdomen pain, back pain, and breathing problems. After numerous tests with specialists they have found the issues. My breathing issues are because I have many large blood clots in my lungs which if they weren't dealt with soon would have been fatal. It's putting a lot of stress on my heart so that's where doctors are focusing their time and effort on now trying to stabilize my heart and breathing before they move on to the next issue. The lower body pain I've been experiencing is confirmed to be cancer. Though the cancer started in my lower body it has been moving upwards and I have a grapefruit sized tumor in my stomach which is wrecking havoc on my body as it's wrapped around blood vessels and pushing organs around. It is also what's been causing the blood clotting in my lungs. Both surgery and chemotherapy will be employed to deal with the cancer in various places. So much has happened so soon. Just as early as Friday afternoon--standing, walking, and turning were all movements I did without thinking but now are very difficult and can sometimes only be done with assistance or pain medication. I'm not able to help my wife with even the simplest of things and can expect to be mostly bed-ridden for the foreseeable future.Even though I received a lot of bad news quickly, I am in good spirits. I am not scared or worried. My theology is keeping me grounded through this all. Particularly the Bible's teaching on God's sovereignty (Daniel 4:35) and the fact that he promises to work all things (including cancer) together for my good (Romans 8:28). Knowing I have an all-powerful God who is in complete control of this situation and is weaving this chain of events for my ultimate good is comforting. And knowing that even if I don't recover from this and die early, I know that because my faith is placed in Jesus, I will spend eternity together with Him. The doctor when he broke the news to me said "I wish everyone could respond as well as you're responding", I told Him that the reason I can respond well is because "I'm in a right relationship with God." It really is the only reason.I know a lot of you care about my family, and would want to help. Without feeling any obligation whatsoever, if anyone feels like they'd like to serve my family in a tangible way, you can donate money through Paypal or if you use a Canadian bank, through email money transfer (same e-mail for both: email@example.com ). Feel free to private message me for my mailing address if that is too techy for you.100% of the money will be used to help cover the extra costs of things like hospital parking and medication as well as practical things which will lessen the load of my wife like take-out meals for my kids on days when Amanda is too exhausted too cook.

Lord Jesus I pray you be with our dear brother Jeremy. As he walks through this trial, God may You be with him. Of course our prayers go out for his healing. But then, God, we pray not our will but Your will be done that which would bring You glory and be for the good of our brother.Lord Jesus we ask that you provide for the physical, as well as the spiritual needs, of our dear brother and his family. And God made all that is done in this situation be done For Your Glory. Lord Jesus we thank you for the testimony of our brother Jesremy and the fruit that will come forth from our brother's testimony. May ultimately You bring good out of this situation for Your glory and Your glory alone. For I offer this prayer in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. AmenBro Blaine
