The Message

"And I, brethren, when I came to you, did not come with excellence of speech or of wisdom declaring to you the testimony of God.For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified."(1Corinthians 2:1-2)

This was the message and Paul didn't rely on human wisdom to present it.

"I was with you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling.And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power"(1Corinthians 2:3-4)

And this was how it was presented.

"that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God."(1Corinthians 2:5)

And this was the result.

But we are to learn and grow in wisdom and knowledge,but it is through Godly wisdom through the power of the Holy Spirit indwelling us.He makes that very clear in the next few verses.

"However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing.But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory,which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
But as it is written:"

“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,
Nor have entered into the heart of man
The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”

"But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.
These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual." (1Corinthians 2:6-13)

It's not the wisdom of this world and it's rulers,but is the wisdom of God hidden from this world but revealed to us through His Spirit indwelling us.It is not the spirit of the world but of God so that we can know the things that have been freely given to us by God and not taught through man's wisdom.
But the natural man,the lost cannot receive or know these things of the Spirit because they are foolishness to them.

"But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned."( 1Corinthians 2:14)

They are taught,received and understood by the Spirit.So to me us trying to force the world system to abide by the things of the Spirit of God are futile.Christ is building His Church and not trying to Christianize this world system.We are separate,citizens of Heaven and our hope is the completion of this body,temple,bride and Christ coming for it.Trying to Christianize this world system and it's rulers would be impossible and is not our purpose anyway and we shouldn't even be expecting it from the rulers of this world.Our hope is not in this world system and all the false hope it tries to give.Our hope is in Christ and Him alone.His coming for us could be any moment and just maybe it will be this day.

"For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself."(Philippians 3:20-21)

"Even so come Lord Jesus"
