Hi brethren,I've been reading through a chapter about the community in Taizé, France. It was founded by Roger Schutz in the 1940s. Some of things I am reading are very troubling in addition to its open associations with the Catholic Church such that the founder was very familiar with the popes over the 50 year period he lead. Other than this chapter, I hadn't heard of this group. I have heard of most of the other communities mentioned in the book through teachers I respect here on SI. Can anyone provide more light on this?
