 Re:

Elizabeth,

What are you saying? Quote: (to become the children of The Word/Spirit...God)

Are you saying that the Word is God? John 1: 1-5

Are you saying that the Father is God?

Are you saying that the Holy Spirit is God?

All of scripture speaks to this. The Three natures of One God.

Which says "it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me".

That the Holy Spirit will teach us of Christ, The Holy who used to be with us, but is now in us forever, The Holy Spirit is our Parakleet: (Teacher) "Bring all things to remembrance what so ever Christ said".

The Father is also with us with Christ and The Holy Spirit making their "abode with us".

All, Three in One, but dealing with our spirit, soul and body as the Father directs "All and in All".

I have been thinking and puzzled about this ever since you started this thread.

In Christ: Phillip

Christinyou,
Yes,I am saying,That The Holy Spirit,Which is Word /Spirit,..God,

And,Yes I am saying that The Word is God. ( Jn.1:1)

Yes,I am saying that The Father is God.

And yes,I am saying that The Holy Spirit is God.

Jn.1:12, "But as many as receive Him,gave He power to become the son's of God,"...

Christianyou,This is The Scripture that rose up in me when I read your post.

(2Cor.5:19),..(Paul),..To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself,....

Lovingly received and answered,
I surely appreciate you asking.

 Re:

Hi Elizabeth, Thank you for your answers and loving reception.

What do you mean by "Word/Spirit... God"?

I have not seen this expression.

 Re:

Christinyou,

By The Word of God,...the Scriptures, tell us that God spoke,(His Voice,Breath,)
and brought,everything into being.

That no man can see Him,..because He is invisable,..God is a Spirit,(Jn.4:24)...He is The Word,..He that speaketh,...The I AM

God: THe Word
Lord: Rules ...is Lord
The Lord,He is God

The Lord,He is God,..meaning,Whatever He speaks,..Words,It happens.because He is The Lord God Almighty.....above every voice/word.

We know, also, that everything That He is,..Is in His Name,...That His Name,is
The Whole Word of God,...(Rev.19:13)'And His Name is called The Word of God'..THAT, is Jesus and God' Name.

Am I speaking too many words ?
Christinyou,I appreciate your concern,

God,be praised,

 Re:

Bro. Blaine,

I appreciate your for your kind words,...Thank you.

To God be praised.

I ,also wanted to say,...as we all know,When we receive The Holy Spirit,
It is The Word / Spirit, that we receive,

(Jn.4:14), (Jesus Speaking),"Whosoever drinketh of The Water that I shall give
him,he shall never thirst, but The Water that I shall give him shall be in him a Well of Water springing up unto >>>>> Everlasting Life.

(Jn.7:38), "He that believeth on Me,as the Scriptures hath said, out of his heart
[belly],shall flow rivers of Living Water."

We know, that as we have need,....and are drawed close to God,The Holy Spirit,with-in,rises up like a fountain of Living Water, to bring Scripture/Words to our remembrance, that we need at that time.

A comfort,...Comforter

....(2Cor.3:3) "...the epistle of Christ ministered by ,written not with ink but with The Spirit of The Living God: not in tables of stone but in the fleshy tables of the heart."

(VS.4),"And such trust have we through Christ, toward God."

Much Blessings,

 Re: Elizabeth

My dear sister Colossians 3:16 says let the word of Christ richly dwell within you. I think this is Jesus Himself who is the Living Word. Jesus is the Word who dwells in our hearts.

John 1:12 tells us and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father full of grace and truth.

We have within us the indwelling presence of the Word Himself. That is Jesus.

Blessings dear sister.

 Re:

"The Three natures of One God."

Not three natures, or manifestations, but three Persons.
Just to be clear.

 Re:

Bro Blaine,

Quote:
You said,"We have within us the indwelling presence of the Word,Himself.
That is Jesus."

Yes,I do agree,

Can I go on to another thought ?

"Baptizing them in the Name of The Father, and of The Son,and of The Holy Ghost / Spirit".... death, unto >>>>> Life.

We know that The Name of The Father is The Word,..and
We know The Name of The Son,is The Word,..and
We know that The Name of The Holy Spirit,is The Word.

To baptize in The Name of Jesus,is the same,...because we are being baptized
into The Word of God.,....Who He is,...from who we are/once were.

And,everything that is in that Name,is The Whole Word of God,..all His righteous judgements,in all matters.

And,Oh yes,Bro.Blaine,

..."Let The Word of Christ, dwell in us richly"....

Drifter,
I do believe in the trinity,..very much so.

I,SO MUCH enjoy,communing with you,

God Bless,

 Re:Elizabeth

Colossians 2:9 tells us for in Him all the fullness of Deity, the Godhead, dwells in bodily form. My sister I believe this confirms your insight.
