Kids seized over family's 'Christian indoctrination

Here is an article that i believe every Christian family with young kids should read ( I saw it on Kjos Ministries)
http://www.wnd.com/2015/12/norway-seizes-kids-over-familys-christian-indoctrination/print/

Do we really understand the time we are living in and what's ahead of us?

 That's pretty amazing!

It was not so very long ago when people gave their lives to help countries likke Norway get free from Nazism. Now this!

We need to keep the situation in our prayers. Very alarming coming from a democratic nation.

I'm wondering if contacting in the Norwegian Embassy in Washington DC will have any impact on this family's case.

 Re:

"Democrat country", means little when it comes too homeschooling and Christianity in European countries.

Read about this Swedish family.

And families in Germany. (They belong to the state)

That might help. I just may do that if time permits.

Thanks.

 Re:

David just checked the State Department bulletin. The United States does have diplomatic relations with Norway. So there's probably a way to contact the embassy and express our concern.

I think I would like to do this. But do it in a respectful way. Don't want to criticize the Norwegian government. But let them know my concern as an Anerican Christian about the seizure of these children.

I think Norway has signed various International treaties that prevent this type stuff. They may need to be reminded of their obligation

If enough people contacted their embassy. This could conceivably have an impact. At least nothing ventured nothing gained.

Just some thoughts.

 Re:

Norway is one of the most egregious countries when it comes to violating parental rights.

Many families from other countries have suffered similar fates in the hands of Barnevernet. Barnevernet has divided families from Brazil, Chile, Czech Republic, Estonia, India, Lithuania, Poland, Russia, Slovakia, Sweden, and, of course, has taken many Norwegian children as well.

It happens, unfortunately, that Barnevernet takes a child from parents without any proof of abuse or neglect, usually based on a mere statement from a neighbour or on a recommendation of Barnevernet infamous psychologists. The children are then given to foster parents who earn good money from the Government on this scheme.

There is no SATISFACTORY control mechanism for child protection. This fact also emerges with screaming clarity in those cases in which the authorities should have intervened, but did not.

No one is in charge and the arrogant and brutal Barnevernet is still allowed to operate almost as a State within the State. Have children become a business in Norway?

Another petition signed against the Barnevernet (Norwegian child welfare).

Keep an eye on this one:

This time it suffered a loss but they vowed to pass it I the future.

I think I may just do that

I may try and contact the Norwegian folks tomorrow if time permits. I have already been thinking of it. It also seems there is an online petition being employed that already has 27,000 signatures.

Re: I sent them an email

I sent an email to the Norwegian embassay in Washington and brought up the family by name and described the events and lodged a respectful protest. I asked if possible could I please receive a acknowledgement that they had received my message and could they send any up to date information they may have on the present status of this family and their children. It was simple to do.
