I am looking for specific teaching by someone with experience in the underground or persecuted church on ways in which those brothers and sisters actually and practically edified one another as they gather(ed). Any suggestions?

Tim, have you ever read any of Richard Wurmbrand's writings? Wurmbrand has a series of talks on "How to Organize an Underground Church". I briefly looked on the SI list of sermons but could not find it there - I know Greg has a copy of those recordings. If you are interested in them and cannot locate them PM me..Sandra Miller

I have read and listened to Wurmbrand and love his spirit. Love VOM. I have heard and read a good bit of his teaching and experience about the underground church. My interest lies in equipping ourselves to encourage in a sort of adversity that effects all. There is precious little practical material out there as it is, but this is like a needle in a haystack. If bro Greg has something useful I would be grateful.
This is one of the clearest and most practical sermons I have heard on the subject:The Approaching Wave of Persecution by Denny Kenastonhttps://www.sermonindex.net/modules/mydownloads/singlefile.php?lid=17008&commentView=itemCommentshere is another good one:The Coming Final Persecution by Steven J. Lawsonhttps://www.sermonindex.net/modules/mydownloads/singlefile.php?lid=19106&commentView=itemCommentsI am personally working on writing a very small booklet on following in the way of christ (martyrdom) and how to very practically start a small house church under persecution. I will share these publicly when they officially come out.

Thanks, Greg, and I'll listen to them. Much appreciated. My goal is not so much to learn about starting a house church --- but brother I'm glad you're doing that booklet. You know I've lamented here a few times that there is a lot of theory but not much practical about house churches online. I got the NTRF (Steve Atkerson) book on it and have read a bit and watched a bit of their teaching videos online. Good stuff, solid. Their approach is obviously from a Reformed basis and while I love it I would appreciate a more Wesleyan-Holiness leaning perspective. Edit: Didnt get to finish earlier. My hope is that I can find something specific to encouragement among brethren.
Tim, would you shoot me an email? I got one from someone who wants to connect with you - said he is a former poster on SI and reads the forums here on SI.Sandra Miller
