 Church of England to consider 'transgender baptism' service

A "transgender baptism" service is to be considered by the Church of England for the first time.
The idea is to bless into God's family the new identities of Christians who have undergone gender transition.

The proposal was welcomed by the Church's most senior trans priest. Rev Rachel Mann, Rector of St Nicholas Burnage and a minor canon at Manchester Cathedral, told Christian Today: "Trans people feel powerfully called to be recognised in their 'chosen' name. An opportunity to be publicly introduced to God is therefore significant. I think this is what the proposed liturgy aims to do. It will be symbolically powerful. The extent to which it is [a form of] baptism will be debated by General Synod of course, but this liturgy is a welcome move to affirm Trans people." ...

 Re: Church of England to consider 'transgender baptism' service

It is sad to see so many Denominations compromising and falling away from Biblical teaching . We can debate and discuss those problems and pray for those Denominations. But we need to go further and try and find the root of all this.
Here is something i found on their website:
"The Church of England encourages people to use scripture, tradition and reason to come to a considered view on many subjects. Sometimes, after discussion and debate in the General Synod and elsewhere, national policies are agreed or, after consideration in councils, opinions are submitted."
They don't build on a Biblical foundation, they build on sand rather then on a solid Rock. As a result they will fall sooner or later.

Here is what the Early Church did :
Acts 2 v41 Then those who gladly[g] received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them. 42 And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers. 43 Then fear came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles.
They came together for teaching, fellowship, remembering the Lord and prayer. If we take anything away from this or add to it then we are getting onto sandy ground
And the Bereans "were more noble-minded than those in Thessalonica, for they received the word with great eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see whether these things were so." Acts 17v 11

Martin Loyd Jones mentions in one of his Sermons that in a true revival churches go back to the Biblical foundations we find in Acts.
Without true revival churches will continue to sink in sand.

On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand;
All other ground is sinking sand,
