I am writing to invite you to join us at Family Research Council Headquarters in Washington, DC, Tuesday, July 29th, at 12:00 Noon ET, to meet and hear from Rev. Richard Owen Roberts. To join us, CLICK HERE.
Rev. Roberts will deliver an hour-long message at Noon. You may know Mr. Roberts, as he prefers to be called, for having introduced the Biblical truths about Solemn Assembly to our generation. You may know him as, perhaps, our nation’s leading scholar on the history of revival. His collection of over 9000 books on the history of evangelism, revival and awakening serve as the nucleus of the Billy Graham Center Library at Wheaton College outside Chicago. He has written numerous books and articles on these and other topics.
His 2002 book, Repentance, The First Word of the Gospel, is considered by many to be clearest book on this critical Biblical truth written in our generation.
Roberts has entitled his message, “Something Must Be Done!” Every leader knows this cry. Our nation and world are in moral, spiritual and political crisis. People wonder what, if anything, they can do to make a difference.
Rev. Roberts will address this burning question and be available for discussion following the lecture. Roberts believes God’s word gives us hope; that it is not too late for America. But our problems are, at their root, spiritual, and must be resolved at the root. America’s spiritual leaders, our pastors, must guide the way. Learn more about Brother Roberts HERE and on his Website.
