 Tis a foolish task

Tis a foolish task to urge the blind to see, let first his eyes be open by a greater one than he.......bro Frank

Agreed. God must open the eyes of those who have been blinded by pride, legalism or bondages.

Yet we have also the great option to be able to share Gospel of light that opens men's eyes:

Acts 26:17-18
New King James Version (NKJV)
17 I will deliver you from the Jewish people, as well as from the Gentiles, to whom I now[a] send you, 18 to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.’

 Re:

Sharing the Gospel without being endued with power from on high or sharing anything really without the power of the Holy Spirit will achieve almost nothing. This is why Jesus urges the disciples not to go anywhere until they have been baptized in the Holy Spirit. If a believer is determined in his spirit he is right and rejects sound council then only the Holy Spirit Himself can bring that man to a place of open ears and eyes that can see. Only by being led of the Holy Spirit and having ears to hear what He says and how He directs can any man of God truly move forward in His will........bro Frank

 Re:

We Can move forward and do things by Our own strength, praying that God will bless it, and have whatever results Weare able to produce in our Own strength or we can be obedient to the Holy spirit, relying on His anointing and have the results that He can and will produce. The choice is ours.

Bro Travis writes......

"We Can move forward and do things by Our own strength, praying that God will bless it, and have whatever results Weare able to produce in our Own strength or we can be obedient to the Holy spirit, relying on His anointing and have the results that He can and will produce. The choice is ours."

That's it brother, that is exactly it. We can operate in our own strength and talents and the world can mistake it for anointing and blessing, while all the time moving ever further away from the Lord by the arm of our own strength while often appearing to men as spiritual. If we do this, we have to glean what is going on in the realm of the Spirit by listening to other men while the man of God simply follows the Spirit. So, we can be followers of men or followers of God but not both...........bro Frank
