HOLY SPIRIT Lead Bible Reading Plan

Saints,

A dear brother shared this and I thought it would be profitable to share it here:

----

The Bible read every 4 months, 30 days

Read ten Chapters a day, from old, and new Covenants. Repeat each of the Six Sections continually, or pick and choose the Sections the Holy Spirit Leads you to read and or repeat. It’s your Choice. But, If you are new to the Faith, I suggest reading, and repeating Section 4, at least four times in order to get a good understanding of who Christ is, what he did, and all he taught.

Old Covenant Reading:

Section 1, Genesis through Malachi, read five chapters a day. (excluding Palms, and Proverbs.) A total of 750 chapters, reading five chapters a day, equal 150 days or, 4 months, 30 days if started in January. Read only one time a year, or continually, to know the Will, and Love of GOD better.

Section 2, Psalms, read one chapter a day. A total of 150 chapters, reading one chapter a day, equal 150 days or, 4 months, 30 days, if started in Jan. Repeat continually to receive understanding, and wisdom from GOD.

Section 3, Proverbs, read one chapter a day. A total of 31 Chapters in 31 days. Read each chapter number according to the day of the month. Repeat continually, to receive from GOD, more of HIS understanding, and wisdom.

New Covenant Reading:

Section 4, Matthew through Acts, read one chapter a day. A total of 117 chapters, equal 117 days or, 3 months 27 days, if started in January. Repeat continually, to follow Christ in all HE taught, and commanded us to do.

Section 5, Romans through Jude, read one chapter a day. A total of 121 chapters, equal 121 days or, 4 months 1 day, if started in January. Repeat continually, to live in JESUS, and JESUS in you.

Section 6, Revelation, read one chapter a day. A total of 22 chapters, in 22 days. Repeat continually, to know of HIS return, the signs and seasons, to watch and pray, to receive a special blessing from our LORD, to the reader, and hearer of this book.

Re: HOLY SPIRIT Lead Bible Reading Plan

As a popular athletic shoe company used to say, Just do it!

The persecuted in N. Korea will risk their lives to own a copy of scripture. Then risk their lives to read this treasure. Elderly Chinese saints receiving their first copy of the Bible will gently kiss this precious book through tears of joy. Many having never owned a copy of scriptures though walking with Christ for nany decades. In remotes parts of Burma believers will memorize dozens of verses to sustain them through persecution. Often having friendly contest to see who memorized the most verses.

In America only 4 in 10 evangelical believers read the Word. In those 4 average length of time spent in the Word is 1 hour. That is one hour a week. That translates into a little over 8.5 minutes a day. And then one wonders why the evangelical church is in the state it is in.

May God have mercy on us.

 Re:

Here is the Gospel Fellowships Network reading plan which is chronological through the bible, which is good for especially the first time trying to read through the entire scriptures:

Chronological Bible Reading of Scriptures (pdf)
https://archive.org/download/principlesbook/biblereadingofscriptures.pdf

It goes by a 1 year schedule that is less-demanding.
