Matthew 24:12 KJVAnd because iniquity shall abound , the love of many shall wax cold .John 13:34 KJVA new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.Revelation 2:4 KJVNevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. The bible predicts in the last days predicts because sin abounds love will grow cold , This is one of the key evangelism tools that it is lost in the church. In cinema churches where you are merely a number in the church. It is almost like people do not know how to hug one another because it has been so stigmatised by the sexual immorality in the world. It is not only a love of others it is also a love of the bible and Jesus .Love is not god but dismissing the god of love who has designed us because of what the bible says that counteract what the culture says . By dismissing the rules on say homosexuality. When preaching outside parliament against same sex marriage bill . Dismissing the god of love by passing this bill is not love but hate because it spreads disease. We live in churches where people may see the people in church maybe twice a week if they have a house group . Is it a stigma to hug someone in church How many lonely people walk in and out of the church or do gospel sermons to the convertedIt is weird how sometimes the organisation that should be most loving in homes where homosexuality , divorce is the norm. That is in Christian homes which make dysfunctional families look normal . Love does not rejoice in iniquity but rejoices in the truth what would it take for the church to stand up for each other and for Jesus as it says if you love god you would obey his commandments . Would christians stand up against say the ecumenical movement , word of faith doctrines, emergent church movement and so called conservative christians who secretly are universalist We need both love and truth . Are churches have become graveyards in which lies or monuments to a great past . Dead people in the pews with dead professors in the pulpits and those are most prominent preachers and teachers. There was a monument in Canterbury which is in martyrs field it says lest we forget , we have forgotten the future and the past as the bible predicts both How can we have a right view of the world if it is tainted by worldly views Is there times you feel more safe outside the church than inside? When was the last time someone hugged you or helped you through a crisis ? Would you stand up for truth in the name of love
Good word dear brother.
