There is Hope for the tree that has been cut downI was at Ben Lee Park for my grandsons birthday party the other day and I couldn't help but notice the one dead tree in the Park, surrounded by alive, healthy, vibrant tree's. Everyone was enjoying them self to life in the Park, but did anyone take note, observe, or see the one dead tree ?? Ears that hear and eyes that see the Lord has made them both. Oh to have our eyes and ears open that we may see and hear as the Good Shepherd does. The Good Shepherd, laid down his life for the sheep, for he is our God and we are ALL the people of his pasture, the flock under his care. The Good Shepherd himself will search for the lost sheep, the dead trees and look after them as a Shepherd looks after his scattered flock, he is with them and will look after them and rescue them from all the places where they were scattered on their day of cloud and darkness He will tend to his sheep and bring back the strays, bind up the injured and strengthen the weak. Can we pass judgment on the tree to why its dead, when we are capable of doing the same thing ? Some through their rebellious ways, and suffered affliction because of their sin. Some had to be rescued from their trouble and delivered from the Lions mouth.Regardless as to why ? The Good Shepherd can Restore and Revive the tree again. If we cry out to the Lord in our troubles, he will save them from their distress He will sent forth his word and heal them and rescue then from their grave. There is hope for a tree: if it is cut down, it will sprout again and its new shoots will not fail at the scent of water it will bud and put forth shoots like a plant. Church, . all we need to do is " water it ", God will make it grow, and spring up again His consolation will bring joy and life to that little tree again. Ps 95:7 John 10 Eze 34Rom 2 Ps 107:17-20 Ps 85:4,6 Job 14:7
Thank you for the encouragement and reminder that God delights in taking things that appear hopeless in the eyes of men and making something glorious of it, for His name's sake.In Christ,Ron
