The poem below is written by a dear sister from overseas (outside the US). Please keep this sister in prayer as her situation is difficult. I would be happy to send her any encouraging comments you may have.


Waiting for My Love.

I am writing a letter to my Husband to be,

The one in heaven waiting for me.

He’s been waiting two thousand years you see,

As he sits on His throne…for his bride to be.

I’m ready and waiting it won’t be to long,

Watching and longing singing His song.

He says, he’ll meet me in the clouds one day,

I can hear Him calling He’s not far away.

So the book is open and the call gone out,

To all of my family as the angels so shout.

And He tells me the table, the table is set,

For the marriage supper,

and all of our guests.

So I’m pacing and looking and calling His name,

For my love and I,

One day…. One day.. will be the same.
