Romans 3:30
Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith

What is or is there a difference in the circumcision being Justified (by) faith versus the uncircumcision being justified (through) faith ???

There is no diffrence..
" we have proved both jew and gentiles that they are all under sin" romans 3:9

" Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law" romans 3:28

I've wondered the same thing about the different words used, "by" and "through".

Hi! 'ProudPapa'

This is a direct quote from a Commentary of the Book of Romans which I have published OnLine at the TLJ Site:

" Romans 3:29-30
Or is God the God of Jews only? Is he not the God of Gentiles also? Yes, of Gentiles also, since God is one; and he will justify the circumcised on the ground of their faith and the uncircumcised through their faith.

Once again the apostle addresses the believing Jews among his readers. He asks them two questions, which every Christian will answer positively. God is a God of Jews and of Gentiles, for there is only one God, and He will treat both groups in the same way, the privileged and the unprivileged. All have sinned, and all will be saved through grace, the Jews as well as the Gentiles. Both receive an offer of righteousness and both have the opportunity to accept the offer through faith.

The gift of faith, the capability to believe, is a gift of God to man, just as the mind. Faith is a function of the spirit just as the mind is a function of the soul. Faith lays hold on the things of the unseen world and deals with them, in the same way as the mind lays hold on the things of the visible world of the senses. Faith deals with things we do not see (Heb 11:1). To understand the things of the unseen world and those of the visible world, faith and mind therefore have to go together. The Scripture call this "enlightened eyes of the mind".

It says that the circumcised will be justified "on the ground of their faith", and the uncircumcised 'through their faith". Although the Jews were held to do the works of the law, they also had to realize that their little sacrifices for sin and atonement really cleansed and justified them. When they were transferred into the new covenant, they could drop their sacrifices but had to continue believing that an offer for sin was required, and that God had provided a sacrifice for Himself. "On the basis of" this faith they had to live.

The Gentiles are the uncircumcised who had no access to justification at all. They, too, will be justified 'through' faith, a completely new and unknown way for them. The content of their faith is the same as for the circumcised. "

Hi! 'ProudPapa'

Here is a story of a recent and true event which happened. Yes, it's something slightly off-topic but nevertheless perhaps an enhancement to my earlier reply to your inquiry which originated this Thread.

My friend Diana has a two year old grandchild named, ‘Autumn’.
Here's what happened with Autumn yesterday while visiting her GrandMother:
Autumn LOVES the motorized ice-cream vendor which cruises through every neighborhood of our city. They are trucks with colorful lighting and they announce themselves with a musical chorus blast from their vehicle speakers. Every child quickly learns the sound of their arrival and loves the their delicious soft ice cream cones.
Yesterday, Autumn was visiting her GrandMother’s home and an ice-cream truck suddenly announced itself on their street.
No one was prepared for its early arrival.
By the time Autumn took notice of it for herself, the truck was already leaving the neighborhood street.
Autumn burst into tears. She was incredibly disappointed.
Suddenly, Autumn walked over to a Real Estate “For Sale” sign which had been inserted into the lawn of the neighboring house and pointed to it declaring: “Grandma, this sign says that the ice cream man will come back in five minutes!”.
Of course, Diana never paid much attention to Autumn’s announcement.
After all, it was a Real Estate sign and Autumn was much too young to read.
But Diana remained on the street with Autumn so as to not irritate her belief; hoping that she would soon lose interest in the ice-cream truck.
To everyone’s surprise … everyone, except, Autumn! … an ice cream truck entered the street and merrily began playing it’s familiar tune.
A big smile flashed across Autumn’s face; as if to say, “See! I told you so!”.
Diana was so shocked that she had to fast-pace it home to get some money to purchase the ice cream that no one except Autumn had foreseen.

When hearing that story today, I said to myself: “It’s wonderful how the angels can minister to children!”
In that remarkable event, Autumn was learning the beginnings of her human spirit’s ability to possess faith.
Autumn had received the wages of her faith. And such faith of a child humbles us all.
(The earlier ice cream truck had mistakenly entered the wrong neighborhood assigned by it’s City Vendor Permit).
