This is a great quote, Greg!
BTW, have you ever thought of compiling all of these quotes into book form (or eBook form)?
I began to do this a few years ago. However, the "trade paperback" format (via both In Design and Word) with quotes and an index grew to nearly 600 pages.
Still, it would be great to see a eBook or bound collection of these wonderful quotes! _________________ Christopher

| Re: Great Quotes 14 | | I say no person has repented until he or she has brought himself or herself to feel he or she killed the Savior. I dont believe any person has repented who would rather be happy than holy. We are living in the gloomiest age of the Church, and yet the Church is seeking happiness avidly, and not finding it, because shes not looking for it in the right place. As long as a person would rather be happy than holy, he or she is an unrepentant man. As soon as this realization hits our conscience, we dont care whether we are happy or not. We need to be hit with our conscience, smitten, wounded within, until contrition becomes a part of our life.

| Re: Great Quotes 14 | | In his (Pauls) epistles, there are references, how he was the least of all Christians and the worst of all apostles, because of his sins. In this happy, happy age this age of cheap, infantile giggling, we want to get repentance over with so we can have fun. Oh, my God, wound us; wound us with the wound of contrition so well never quite get over it, so we always will carry around with us the knowledge that weve been sinners and never forget that weve been sinners.
