Will Pat Robertson PLEASE Go Away!?!?

This from several online news sources:

Quote:
"If Pat Robertson's vision of theological payback comes true, Peyton Manning will be injured this season as retribution for the Denver Broncos getting rid of Tim Tebow.

"The televangelist was speaking recently on "The 700 Club," which is apparently still on television. He recited Tebow's accolades from the 2011 season and wondered whether the Broncos were tempting fate by leaving him off their 2012 ark.

"And you just ask yourself," Robertson said, "OK, so Peyton Manning was a tremendous MVP quarterback, but he's been injured. If that injury comes back, Denver will find itself without a quarterback. And in my opinion, it would serve them right."

OK... I dont want to kick a brother when he's down, but someone needs to escort Pat Robertson out from in front of the cameras and microphones and just let him sit and play checkers or something. This is REALLY getting ridiculous.

He is bringing reproach on the name of Christ on a regular basis, and to be honest, I dont know that it's entirely his fault. I think he is too old, and the people around him wont tell him that or admit to it for whatever reason.

But someone... PLEASE... stick a sock in his mouth!

it is sad when someone supposedly representing Christ makes a comment like this that goes all over the media.

Tim Tebows attitude about the whole thing was so much more christian like. I believe Tebow truly shows Christ in his life whether you like football or not.

God is leaving him on there for some reason...

He said this about obese people around 2005 (so this has been going on quite a while)...

"He told me He would stop entering fat people's hearts until they had reached their target weight and maintained it for at least six months," said Robertson. "I gave a hearty amen to that. Can you imagine what it's like inside a fat person's heart? That's enough to creep anybody out."

Maybe God is leaving him on there to see how many will actually pray for the man instead of kicking him to gutter?? He definitely needs prayer.

God bless,
Lisa

He needs prayer, but he needs godly men around him that will use wisdom and say "Enough, Pat... time to retire."

Don't worry. He'll die soon. And people will call down judgment upon him in the same manner he has others.

Re: Will Pat Robertson PLEASE Go Away!?!?

I happened to be watching CBN in April 2005, when Pope John Paul 2nd died, and I heard this eulogy as Pat Robertson spoke. This is transcribed word for word;

"I am deeply grieved as a great man passes from this world to his much deserved eternal reward. John Paul II has been the most beloved religious leader of our age – far surpassing in popular admiration the leader of any faith."

"He has been a man of great warmth, profound understanding, deep spirituality, and indefatigable vigor."

" It was my great honor to meet with him at the residence of my good friend, Cardinal O’Connor, in New York, and to sit in the Consistory during the mass he conducted in Central Park. I told him at the time how much the American people loved him, and he merely smiled. That love was shared not only in America but by millions all over the globe.

He has been a steady bridge in the transition of Eastern Europe from communism to freedom. His personal magnetism brought together all Christians in new bonds of understanding.

I pray for the Cardinals of the Catholic Church that they might have God-given wisdom in selecting the successor to this great man. Their task will not be easy, but with God all things are possible.".... etc. ad nauseum. I wanted to vomit, I was so grieved.

My first reaction was much like a genuine prophecy, and I felt; "WOE UNTO YOU WHO HONOR THE WICKED!" I must refrain, and subdue myself, lest I rant. The worship of the demon saint/statues, the Queen of Heaven demoness intercessor they bow to, the dead jesus hanging on the crucifixes who forever must bleed there, the multitudes of innocent men, women and children they gleefully murdered in the Reformation, and before, the hierarchy...Where does one stop?

The synagogue of Satan manifest! So, I called a friend, with influence, and told him my sentiments. He also was appalled, and said he thought he could get that word directly to Pat. I don't know if he ever followed through.

From that moment, he lost all of my respect, and support. He is part wicked Catholic, Part on fire power pentecostal, and 100% Ecumenical. He is not a liar, nor a hypocrite, he is deceived and does deceive.

 Re:

well spoken brothertom. On a related note, i went to a catholic school growing up called "our lady queen of heaven". Imagine how shocked I was after I got saved and read the book of Jeremiah.

Or maybe God just lets him do whatever he wants to do. No sense in talking to someone when they aren't listening.

Personally, I don't bother praying for such people because they are not in my surrounding world. If anyone on this site asks for prayer, your included because your in my surrounding world. Or if I ask for prayer, I am pulling you into my world. As for Pat Robertson, I believe he is a man who is using the Christian platform to make merchandise out of us. The insults, the predictions, the slander, all of these he has uttered and none of them have any true weight. I don't trust him to be a true man of God. Great news network though!

I pray that I am wrong.

Lol.....glad someone else feels the same way about that guy's
absurd show. But i don't call him a brother. As far as i can tell all he is doing is profiting financially off of religion and nothing more.
