I love to send out Christmas cards. Many years I have made my own with my photography & words. This year I found this one and bought a box.On the front it has part of a tree and a fireplace, candles etc. on the mantle with a young child putting up the Nativity. With the words. "When you get right down to it (on the front) inside is ...the only thing that really matters is Jesus. If you are sending Christmas cards I would love to hear what yours says about the Lord. As we lift Him up at this season we pray He will draw men unto Himself and use our cards to do so. Glory to our God.
We stopped doing Christmas cards years ago. It is a lost tradition, thats for sure.I dont have the patience, and any more it's too expensive.I admit, I just tell everyone Merry Christmas on Facebook.Krispy
I leave the Christmas card tradition to the women, they seem to do a better job at it and personally, I like seeing them do stuff like that anyway. I think it's because it's too general it's not personal. Now Birthday cards are another thing altogether, I'll take about an hour trying to find the right one.Hey Krispy, do you not even have a big supper at Christmas?
