What books are you reading ?

I have been reading a Commentary on Mark by Tyndale and a Francine Rivers fiction book.
What are some good books to get you deeper into Jesus and into his word and fall in love with Jesus more?

I am sure there are many but one that comes to mind for falling in love with Jesus is " A Shepherd Looks at 23rd Psalm" by Phillip Keller. Very precious.

Right now I have been reading a here and there in the Word Genesis, Psalms, Isaiah, and Jonah. And also for personal reading to help better train me and build me up as a father is "Raising a Modern Day Knight" its about raising your son to become a Man of God.

In the book of Acts. But always like to plug Purpose in Prayer by E. M. Bounds. I can pretty much crack this book any time and get a good chunk of manna reading a random selection. Spurgeon Gold by Ray Comfort has been the same way recently.

Intimacy with Christ - Jeanne Guyon

And I'm reading Guyon's Autobiography. I also down loaded her "Short and Easy Method on Prayer".

I recommend it - especially to those who are wrestling over the woman's place in God's kingdom.

Found here http://www.ccel.org/g/guyon/prayer/

 Re:

The Autobiography is astounding. One of the best biographical works I've ever read. Short and Easy Method of Prayer or Expereicing the Depths of Jesus Christ as it's often titled is excellent as well though I'm cautious about recommending it as I distrust methodologies for intimacy. Still brilliant insights from a devoted life and a very deep love relationship with the LORD.
