Lord, in all things i can only look to the crossyour Spirit as fire cleansing away the drossand thus i give you everything much more so than just a partuprooting things buried deep within as confessions from my heart:for i am an adulterer a murderer and a thief at heartjealous and angry and from holiness apartmy best intentionsstand as my worst contentionseven my best confessionsstand as mere pretensionsnot knowing the difference from left to rightand consistently choosing the darkness over lightnaked and poor, wretched and blindin myself or this world no hope i could findbut your grace shines bright through the darkest of nightlike stars that twinkle in the night sky so brightand you reached down and saw my helpless estateand gave me your love and by grace changed my fateand without rhyme or reasondespite my sin and treasonyou came and changed the seasonsof my heart and gave me a reasonto live to love to hope and dreamas you lead me beside the gentle streamwatering the tree once fruitless and deadnow blossoming to life bearing fruit insteadthat your love for me stands forever the sameand in the light of this truth i will remainthat you loved me in spite of methat you loved me in spite of meand in this truth i am finally set free

haha, i am blessed that you were blessed =)i hope that you will continue to find shelter under the shadow of His wing and that He will continually fill you with an ever growing knowledge of His love displayed through His Son, our Lord Jesus Christ!
Praise God,This is a poem that has really allowed me to see more of the grace of God in Jesus Christ. What hit me the most was:"my best intentionsstand as my worst contentionseven my best confessionsstands as mere pretensions"It's amazing how we try to correct our motives and try to pray in a certain way in order that we may justify ourselves before God and expect Him to hear us. But praise God that we are not justified by good motives, nor by confession, but by Christ and Christ alone. Not justified either by freedom from certain sins, but by faith in Christ. Even our victories over sin are not perfect. Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord, who is our Perfect Sacrifice on our behalf. God help us to see this truth more clearly, that we may never stray from this glorious Gospel.Amen,- Michael Liao
