God is a Father of love. It is the nature of love to care for others. So let your Father take care of everything that concerns you and is oppressing you. Scripture says, Do not worry about tomorrow; it will have enough worries of its own. As a child, you are not capable of making arrangements for your future anyway. Leave the overall planning to your Father. He is all-wise, all-powerful, all-knowing. He only expects you to take care of those things assigned to you day by day. Leave further developments to God. Wonderful in counsel, and excellent in wisdom, He will bring everything to a glorious conclusion.Matthew 6:34 GNB; Isaiah 28:29 RSVfrom: http://www.kanaan.org/international/daily_readings/june.htm

There is something truly wonderful about finding rest in Christ. It encompasses so much, and extends to every avenue of our lives. His yoke is easy, burden light. Even in the midst of sin and oppression, if you are struggling, failing, fighting and falling, just...stop. Exactly how you are, begin resting in Christ and you will find Him suddenly carrying you through the day with ample daily bread and new strength to "walk" as He would walk.
