ARE YOU DEAD YET ?

People can say or do anything to a dead man and he will not respond.

1 Peter 2:23 At Jesus
When they hurled their insults at him, he did not retaliate;

David Friends: Not Enemy

Those who would harm me talk of my ruin
V-13 I am like a deaf man, who cannot hear,
like a mute, who cannot open his mouth;
I have become like a man who does not hear,
whose mouth can offer no reply.

That’s a dead man.

God wants us dead. Our focus and love on him. Get to a place where nothing moves you. Your in another realm. I pray that God will get both you and I to this place, That nothing moves us. It doesn't matter what the devil brings our way or says about us. We will stand and reflect Christ.

Rom 6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so WE ALSO SHOULD WALK IN NEWNESS OF LIFE.

Gal 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: NEVERTHELESS I LIVE; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.


SCRIPTURE: "Christ lives in me". Gal 2:20

WRONG CONCEPT: I do not live now at all.
RIGHT CONCEPT: I live by the faith of the Son of God.

PRINCIPLE: God does not require self-effacement for His life to be manifested. God does not require that your personality cease to exist.



SCRIPTURE: "I am crucifed with Christ". (Gal 2:20)

WRONG CONCEPT: I am dead and must practice death.
RIGHT CONCEPT: I died with Christ and am raised by his life to live.

PRINCIPLE: God's purpose for the Believer is not death BUT LIFE.

Phillipians 1:21 For me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. I think I understand where you are going with this and how it hits home. To live in Christ is to be dead to those things that move others around us who have yet to experience life. It is very praise worthy that we have been given sight to what blinds men. It is in this new life that we are given discernment to what is dead around us and what we are to be dead to. I think of it often and I humbly thank God that I do not value anymore what He deems wothless and dead.
