May I recomend "Youth Aflame" by Winkie Pratney. This book saved my life, as I was "saved" in a service that preached a modern gospel, which I didn't understand. This book shattered all my 1 week old illusions, with chanlleging thoughts on repentance, as well as explaining the whole humanism vs true christianity, issue. Hard to find, these days, but an excellent read.
To add to the library being recommended try some biographies of the heroes of the faith, whoever they may be to you. Certainly from my walk books about George Mueller and David Brainerd inspired me to grasp for that normality in the Christian life. Not theologically meaty, but certainly very challenging.
