Looking for free or low costs Christian books for Kindle

I was blessed to receive a Kindle from my work, and I am searching for where to find good Christian books for the kindle that are free or low cost, can anybody recommend places to find them online other than Amazon?

Thanks.
Doug

You can get the biography of missionary John Paton for free on the Kindle. You will be on the edge of your seat! It is one of the most amazing books I have ever read.

Paton was a 19th century missionary to the New Hebrides islands, which were run by cannibals.

Here are links to excellent Christian literature resources. Many of these have documents in PDF format. Kindle handles these, but I prefer to convert them into mobipocket format (.mobi) to read them on my Kindle. Go to http://calibre-ebook.com/ and get Calibre ebook software which will allow you to convert almost any format (pdf, text, html, etc.) into mobipocket format for viewing on the Kindle.

I purchased a Kindle this past summer and I love it!

http://books.google.com

Google books is the best place that I've found to download pdf's for the Kindle. I like google because they are pdf's of the actual pages from the book.

Type in your favorite author or subject and then be sure on the left side to click "Full View" (means FREE) and that is all there is to it! Google doesn't put any books on there (available for free) after 1925ish.

God bless,
Lisa
