The gentile church was being associated to the tabernacle of Davide because, David clearly showed us what God would have to do us in Christian walk. The bible says he was a man after God's own heart. It wasn't until after he had the heart ot repent of his many sins before God, that he could clearly get in the face of God with an attitude of repentance and remorse for the way he lived not only as king David but as a man of God. God doesn't hold our sins over our heads once we've been forgiven but He rejoices we we come to him in prayer wanting to be closer to Him and a part of His Kingdom. David is a prime example of no matter how low you may think you've managed to sink or how low man has placed you on the totem pole of life you will, God is still a lover of your soul and His desire is that we all be saved. Jew or Gentile.
