 Godly Music

When I first visited SI I neglected to check out the Godly Music section but just recently have a visited it and started checking out some of the downloadable music here on SI. It has been a huge blessing and I would encourage anyone that hasn't checked out some of the artist to do so.

I recommend Sean Detriech, Jason Bellard, the Instrustmental Worship, Celtic worship or just any of them they are all blessings :)

God Bless,
Matthew

Amen brother.

Here is the link for over 1000 free files: http://www.sermonindex.net/modules/mydownloads/viewcat.php?cid=168

My desire to first start this section is to have enough godly music to listen to freely I wouldn't have to buy cds at $20 each which some of them where just made to make money and not edify the Church of God purely.

 Re:

I did some more research on Sean Dietrich and found out that he has more free downloads of his music at truthforfree.com if you want to see about adding those songs as well.

 Re: Godly Music

I have downloaded some of the Celtic worship myself. Good stuff. Thank you Greg.

 Re:

There is a Hymn CD I bought online recently, I know it is not free, but it is called Page CXVI, and they are modern renditions of some of the best hymns ever. I have found myself worshiping fervently to the CD on my way back and forth to work each day in a fresh way. It is an album worth paying for.

Brother,

I looked up http://pagecxvi.com/ that is loud emotional rock music for me! :) I prefer the acapella type of hymns.

 Re:

Can anyone recommend any good RNB gospel lol i grew up listening to this sort of worship now i find myself being grieved by the content. I only have two worship cd's and i think i need to give them a break. I tried the hillsong stuff but its not for me.

 Re:

Areadymind,

Thanks for the suggestion of music. Like Greg said, it is pretty fast, but I like it. I ended up purchasing both discs. Sometimes a little "jamming with Jesus" is in order for the car ride to and from work.

Blessings!

 Re:

Sorry Greg...I have to admit that I am musically tuned to the sounds of my generation. However I thought they did a really good job with the quality, and when they released the albums they gave away thousands of downloads free. So they got kudos in my book. I also thought the collection of hymns was superb.
