 Re: Is Jesus Alone, Enough?

There is a very good point to what is said in this topic... people do need to realize that being about the things of God is good,... BUT being with God himself is the BEST!!! That is what Jesus said to Martha in Luke 10:38-41 Martha was so busy doing what was good, that she overlooked that which was best. She was so busy serving Jesus that she didn't take the tame to be with Jesus. And she even criticized(sorry if spelling is wrong) someone who did spend the time to learn from Him. That is when Jesus lovingly corrected her(as He tries to do with us all, if we just take the time to listen) and said to her, "Martha, Martha, thou art careful(or worried) and troubled about many things; BUT one thing is needful; and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her." Jesus told us as Christians, that if we shall spend the time sitting at his feet, that what we learn shall not be taken from us. We cannot learn, and grow if we do not take time to sit at the Saviors feet. In that place we find ourselves in a place of humility, and God has said that those who humble themselves in the sight of the Lord shall be lifted up. God will set things in order for us to walk in the calling of the Lord if we will humble ourselves, and Let God BE God! Let us take time to sit at the Lords feet today! It is such a sweet place to be!
