Re: Who is My Brother in Christ?

I know a man that has shared with me some remarkable stories about God's providence in his life and of experiences he has had. To look at him or to hear some other things he has said(he's not 'superspiritual') I have been tempted(wrongfully) to think(to ask) why him?

I happened to speak with him tonight and afterwards I thought of the encounter that Mary had with the angel Gabriel. From the point of view of an angel, I doubt there is much that is impressive about humans. And even with Mary, was she extraordinary in some spiritual way?

Yet, the angel that was sent to her greeted her by saying 'Hail thou that art highly favoured...'

However angels may view humans, no doubt if God has favoured them, then angels treat them the same.

It made me think that one: we ought to always rejoice when we see or hear that God has blessed someone or shown them great grace. Because if God has done so, who are we to think otherwise?

And too, we ought to see all of God's people that way, blessed and highly favoured.

And no, I haven't gone over to the prosperity preachers :)

"WHEN A PERSON BELIEVES IN JESUS CHRIST, He is ...."

How would you define "BELIEVES IN" in other words, what exactly is entailed in "believes in"?

Do you believe that all who say "I believe in Jesus Christ"
automatically partake of the aforementioned verses?
