I listened to a sermon from the archives - and may have been in sermonaudio - using the example of Abraham and Isaac and ram in the thicket, showing that the ram was not the end of the account, but the "intermission" until God would fulfill the example in His own Son. Hi,This is definitely a Paul Washer sermon, which is why you may have got it on sermonaudio. He has used the 'intermission' comment in more than one, so perhaps someone who knows his sermons better than I, can take it from here.

I think you should check out The Lost Gospel, which I think Paul Washer preached in Wales at the Revival conference this year. I believe he gets to Abraham near the end. His other reference to 'intermission' is in a much older sermon, preached somewhere in the US.
