But you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, Abba! Father!
Jesus . . . lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, . . . Holy Father, . . . O righteous Father. And he said, Abba, Father. And because you are sons, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, Abba! Father! For through him we both have access in one Spirit to the Father. So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God.
For you are our Father . . . you, O Lord, are our Father, our Redeemer from of old is your name.
I will arise and go to my father, and I will say to him, Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Treat me as one of your hired servants. And he arose and came to his father.
Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children.
